About Me

My name is Tommy and I'm a student at University of Nebraska - Omaha. I fell in love with designing and creating ways to make life easier and I have found that when I combine that with coding, there's unlimited potential to make a positive impact.

I started teaching myself how to code with online resources like Harvard's CS50 and CS50W along with as much documentation and as many videos that I can find. Combining that knowledge with university courses gives me the ability to start learning even more by creating projects outside of classes. Working on these independent projects has been something that has been incredibly useful in learning how to practically implement the skills that I've learned. Not to mention that it's just fun.

But technical skill means nothing without personal skill. That's why I focus on developing a team-oriented, hardworking mindset just as much as a focus on the technical side. Coachability and an eagerness to learn are essential in any aspect of life, and I pride myself in putting emphasis on those traits. But most importantly, regardless of how stressful a day may be, I'll always have your back.
